Master's recital, DMA exams, and 2 collaborative recitals down, only 8 collaborative recitals left to go! I am constantly learning an endless stream of new repertoire and am really enjoying the process!
I'm also learning new solo repertoire in hopes that I'll be able to give a recital toward the beginning of the fall semester. I'm really excited about the repertoire-- it's all Russian, which makes me feel like I'm finally being allowed to settle into what I hope will become my specialty. My current plan is to play three transcriptions of Russian songs, Pletnov's arrangement of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, and Prokofiev's 7th Sonata. I have my work cut out for me!
